Excel Tool for Calculating Staff Costs Using the Data Range Method

Here you can download a simple Excel sheet to help calculate staff costs when using the data range method.

The tool allows you to:

  • Exclude costs that were not paid during the reporting period
  • Include costs that were paid during the current period but relate to a previous one

If you have any suggestions or would like to request changes, feel free to get in touch.
On request, I can also provide a version covering 7 months – useful for the first report of early-starting projects.

Guidance for Estimating the Level of State Aid

Here you’ll find an unofficial guide for calculating indirect state aid under GBER Article 20a for SMEs participating as German partners in the Interreg South Baltic Programme.

This document provides orientation on how to estimate the appropriate level of state aid granted within the relevant programme activities.

If you have any questions or suggestions for improvement, we’d be happy to receive your feedback.

We’re Here to Support Your Project Planning

Here you’ll find a simple tool to help plan partner budgets within your project.
Please note: This is not an official tool, but you’re welcome to use it and transfer the data into the official documents later.

We’d appreciate any feedback or suggestions for improvement – it helps us make the tool even better!

Quick Guide:

Green fields can be filled in manually

Yellow fields are calculated automatically

Staff costs are calculated on a monthly basis (person-months) over the total project duration
(e.g. 0.25 PM ≈ 5 working days)
