What is Interreg South Baltic?

Interreg brings institutions together across borders to solve cross-border problems and realise new ideas.

Interreg South Baltic promotes cross-border exchange in the southern Baltic Sea region, i.e. between the coastal regions in Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Denmark and Sweden.

But we are also happy to provide support beyond Interreg.  Whether it's HORIZON Europe or other European funding programmes, we have the right contact person for you.

Solving challenges across borders

Cross-border challenges need a common solution, such as in maritime spatial planning, cross-border transport or tourism. Many thematic areas are covered by Interreg funding - feel free to contact us to find out if your area is eligible.

Test and implement solutions across borders

When new developments emerge, Interreg helps to test and disseminate them quickly across national borders. In doing so, Interreg finances the cross-border exchange between institutions or with technical experts, as well as material for the development of new approaches and the practical implementation of test runs.

Who can receive Interreg funding?

Eligible for funding are mainly public institutions, but companies may also be able to take advantage of the funding under certain circumstances. Contact us, we will be happy to advise you!
